We looked at the house in October 2019 and my first impression was… “what in the world are we thinking” but my husband has always been able to look past the damage to see a positive end result with all the houses we have flipped so it officially became ours in November. It was during the busy holiday season so we decided to not start on it until early 2020 but then, as all of you are aware, our world as we knew it was turned upside down and rearranged due to the virus scare. So our plans were put on hold for a bit…
We began the reno in May and it started with getting permits, temporary power and people lined up for roof, electrical and hvac quotes. Nobody has lived in the house for at least 19 years and while cleaning out the basement we found some family memorabilia from the ’70 & ‘80’s. Cool thing about it is that I was able to connect with the person on Facebook so they could be reunited with it!
