This sign from Dollar Tree is cute as is but I’m really loving softer colors this fall season.
Here are the steps I used to achieve this look!

I started by sanding the glitter off to get ready to paint. This part was super easy; the glitter came right off!

I then painted the truck itself with Waverly Chalk Paint. This color is Agave and I have been using for multiple projects!
I also painted over the original words on the truck and the arrow in White Craft Smart Acrylic Paint.

Next, I hot glued Raffia to the truck to look like hay.

I then cut five pumpkins in various shapes out of card stock paper. I used Mod Podge to glue them to scrapbook paper and burlap. I cut them out of the card stock first to help make them sturdier.
I used hot glue to stick them onto the truck. Just a dab will do!

Next, I painted the word “Welcome” onto the arrow. I freehanded this one but you could also use a stencil. I used the Agave color again to match the truck.
To finish off the project, I swiped black paint around the sign to give it a 3D effect!

There are so many ways this project could be done so get creative and be unique!
If you make one, send me a picture or tag me so I can see your project!
